yeah ill try that. thanks. and yes i can access my ps3 internet browser whilst the dns error is happening. i looked on the official ps3 forum and a LOT of people have the same problem.

Yeah, I see it is pretty common. I did see someone suggest opendns and found that it works.. but then I've also seen people say they waved a magic wand over their ps3 and then it worked!

If a magic wand fixes your P3 maybe you can wave it over the orange box and fix all the bugs

anybody with DNS errors try this « Thread Started on May 27, 2009, 5:25pm » it worked for pink and myself so nothing to lose.
go into ps3 -> network settings -> edit them -> click custom not auto -> keep going until u get to the bit were it says primary dns and secondary dns and change dem to
Primary dns 208.67.222.222 and secondary dns 208.67.220.220.
never had a dns error since i changed these I pasted this from DMS GOODFELLA so if it works thank him
