ok not many people seem to notice, but i have noticed minor changes to tf2. the bigger one is enemy attacks often send me flying, even when its not a demo bomb or solly rocket. i got bottled, lost half my health and flew up. strange lol. also lag decreasing, and friendly fire turrets? NEVER seen that before. no i dont mean if youre the engi that built it btw. a friendly sentry's rockets hit me and i died. it even said at the top that it was friendly. maybe ea are starting to update, or is it a sign servers are confused? (too much info, not enough active maintanence or memory)

Well, certain other weapons have potential for knock back when they're used a certain way. For example, a scout's scattergun will push an enemy when used point blank. Also I've been backstabbed and been sent flying ridiculously long distances, at least that's how I saw it happen.
As for friendly sentry fire, that's always been there. If an engineer stands in front of or gets in the way of his sentry's fire, he can get hurt or killed. That's always been the case, but it only happens to the engineers who built said sentry, otherwise everybody else on the team is immune, including other engineers.
I wish it was because of updates, that would be damn decent of them.

no but i was a scout, and the sentry killed me lol.it was red, i was red, so wtf? also a melee never normally sends you flying other than the spy, a spade shouldnt cause me to fly without dying, nor should an axe. these are all strange. most recent fly hit was yesterday when i was a heavy, got shot whilst jumping by an engies pistol, and did a slight hop like a scout.

Alright, so it's even weirder than I could've guessed. I don't know what it could be. I keep myself in certain situations so I haven't experienced most of this stuff. Except the thing with the engineer's pistol fire knocking you back.
I have a suspicion that if you're airborne and you get hit, your momentum is altered if you get struck by enemy fire of any kind. There have been many times that I've jumped as a heavy and got knocked back midair by enemy gatling fire from another heavy. Sniper bullets have the same effect, I think all small arms have the potential to do this.

for the sentry fire, you mayby got killed by the stickys of a demo . but you didn't saw it, and the sentry was firing at a spy behind you .

It's usually because the sentry saw an enemy behind you and started firing, shooting through you first. :S

yeah but how/why did it kill me. demo bombs dont kill friendlies, nor does a backstab etc...
