Lag problems

I get lag now in every single server I join since I updated. I run on a wireless connection, so I would assume that's the problem, except my signal never goes below 90% and I never had this problem until last night

When I played with you guys (I got owned, but just wait until next time) I was fine, but everything after that was laggy as hell. in the servers where I finally get over the shakes when I join a server, I still keep a bit of lag that prevents me from doing good (Can't rocket jump, enemys are not where I see them)

Anyone else getting this problem, or have any idea as too what I can do to try and fix it? I really wish they would let us into the developers console so that I can mess with my settings too where I like them. I don't want to have to fuck with my ps3 and undo the update (if thats what is causing my lag, which I doubt)

I want too keep going up in the ranks but I can't, because I can't play. I went from tier 3 too tier 1, I think I'm 380 or something... but I can't keep climbing the ranks if I can't keep playing!

I went from about 3 meg ADSL WIFI to 20 meg Ethernet cable and I now enjoy much less lag across all games . I purchased a 10 metre Ethernet cable and run the cable through the floor boards , cheap and much better than being on WIFI . It is worth the investment and hassle of drilling a small hole to get a perfect connection . What speed is your router ? because 90% is good its your broadband speed and router transfer speed that gives you such bad lag .

it happen 2 me, i wait 10-20 mins then start play any map n same shit happen, move after 20 secs after u tell it 2... its also bcz of u get many frnds on list of when u add n i delete the pple tht ddnt play 4 long time like 10days n above i delete

Are you sure on your figures as far as I am aware 50 meg is the fastest currently available in Ireland .

i'm on broadband, and my router is top of the line, I bought it so I wouldn't have to run 150 feet of cat5 cable. now the router just isn't working for some reason. I'm trying to figure it out.

Well first off reset your router and your P3 network settings to see if that solves the problem . Try a lap top using wifi and do a speed check to find out your true broadband connection . I was fine on adsl and ethernet cable but when I switched to wifi it kept cutting out , the problem was a faulty telephone socket . Your broadband company must have a helpdesk as will your BB company phone them they should solve .
