antiteleporter guest I think I know who you are / In KT defence I would imagine it is force of habit playing to win not a concious effort to keep the teleporters in high points / besides who even looks at the points board I never do / It would be far better to have EA sort it but seeing as they can't even give us a lag free weekend then the teleport sad sacks are here to stay so forget the score and play for the team / its team fortress not count my own points

EA should have sorted it out, but they didnt. The only reason I see for players to play with these ppl who only just teleport is to improve their own ranking, I dont see it as a way of just trying to win. I can see this guy may be your friend; all I was asking was why he acts as their bodyguard such as not moving away from his own base in 2fort; its because of these players that 2fort became a mess and the best players stopped playing on that map. Also I have seen the same thing happening on dustbowl. I dont play for points, never have for a long time. However, playing with other ppl who just teleport all day was plain sad, but watching others trying to defend them just to get high points was even more sad.

However, playing with other ppl who just teleport all day was plain sad, but watching others trying to defend them just to get high points was even more sad. Uh huh... thanks for the random accusation of cheap tricks. I've been playing with raptor and sylvia for a while now. Not that you'd know anyway. I play with raptor and the others not for rank or wins, but because he's actually one of my best medics and he came to ME. Once again, not that you'd know. If you were going to say something to me, you should have said it out right at first. Not imply something like a sly detective or something. Besides, my primary class is Heavy and I keep my rep in tact with many others aside from just them. I also stay behind when I know the base needs DEFENDING so the team doesn't lose. Otherwise, I'm capable of attacking, not that you seem to notice that anyway. By the way, aside from the teleport trick, they're actually very good players and pretty nice people. I know what they do for their ranks. I'm not stupid. Hell, I probably would have been in first or second place at some point if it wasn't for that trick, but hey, I don't care. Most people in the community aren't stupid, and I didn't build a reputation because of rank or who I play with. I'm a damn good player and you can ask a good number of people what kind of player I am. I don't cheat and I don't leech off of anybody's effort. Besides, there are players out there who do things that are truly dirty and wrong as far as fairness goes, that ruin the game in far worse ways than just "Who's supposed to be in __ place." so I hope you went and scolded them too and not just singled me out for some weird reason. And all this about "good players not playing on 2Fort anymore" because of "these players", come on. There are people on Dustbowl and Gravel Pit that build sentries and other such things in the sky, behind walls, and under the ground and I don't see these "best players" avoiding those maps. And you're telling me that a stupid trick with points (that doesn't even guarantee victory) is what you come to confront me for on my thread? Please, that doesn't make much sense. And the teleport trick only really seems to work in games that run very long and very flat. Otherwise, people get their due credit. I'm not saying it's not cheap, but it's not that freakin' awesome anyway. I don't expect everyone to love me or something stupid like that, but I don't need to be hated for stupid reasons, nor do I want it. I hope you understand... whoever you are.

("Besides, there are players out there who do things that are truly dirty and wrong as far as fairness goes, that ruin the game in far worse ways than just "Who's supposed to be in __ place." so I hope you went and scolded them too and not just singled me out for some weird reason.")
They probably are nice people when you only just defend them; have you ever tried messaging them about how they should stop teleporting to gain points??? I sent them messages to kindly stop using these tricks to gain points; instead I got quite a few abusive terms from them in reply. Not really nice, are they? So no, I have not singled you out. And about how you say they are "good players", yes we all know hard it is to be medic; it can be quite tiring holding down one button when healing. We should all applaud them.
Although you don't teleport yourself, you certainly do "leech off somebody else's efforts". You say you dont want to be hated for "stupid reasons"; no one is hating on you. The question was quite simple really; it required a simple answer. But some people can never accept reality.

Y'know what? If they're sour or bitchy when you message them about the point thing, then fine. Shame on them. You wanted to know why I've been playing with them? Here's the simple answer that I didn't think would matter to you.
They've been on my friend list for a long time and that was quite soon after I got the game almost a year ago. Afterwards, his friends followed and they friended me too. So I play with him when I can. Which isn't even as often as you'd think. I can't. So, what then?
Nobody is hating me. Fine. Good. And what, "accept reality?" What's that, huh? You're actually judging me when it comes to what I do in a game. You're actually judging me as if you've followed me to every single game I've ever played on Team Fortress 2. Way to go. You've concluded that I play with said players and have benefited from it and I still do it sometimes... what do you want? You want me to realize some sort of trespass against other players or something? If I felt so bad about it, what would my penance be, huh? Or maybe it's not supposed to be my choice. Maybe others will decide and I'll get what I deserve or something?

children the glitchers ruin the game for all of us and any attempts to stop then are pointless always join my server as we try to get as many clan players from all clans to join so that we can have a glitch free game and a better standard of play /

I just don't want to be lumped in with those people. I've never been one of them. Y'know the people who like to put in God mode just because they like to cheese people off.

I used to glitch . Now i don't do it anymore. It was actually fun for a while. First i didn't do it to make points or kills. i just wanted to explore the map. Later i did it for kills. Then i saw how pointless it was. Getting a lot of points for a high rank. it's is kinda pathetic. BTW: blowing someone up with a rocketlauncher is much more fun ;D But at least now i know how to stop some glitches.
so to all the glitching engineers. Grab your shotgun and make some headshots! That is much more fun. believe me. You don't wan't to stay alone with your sentry up or under the map.

I'm on that wagon with you two. There's nothing worse than getting blown away from beneath your feet or finding two sentries in the air.
Funny though, there have also been a number of times where I was on a team with a random glitcher, and said players actually cost the whole team the battle. That just goes to show how bad it can really get.
