Response (Smith) 02/23/2009 07:05 AM Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties, and apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, I need some more specific information in order to really know what's causing the problem. If you're getting errors, please write down the error message exactly as it appears and send it to us at your earliest convenience. If you're not getting an error but are having problems, please describe in more detail what exactly is going wrong, and what you're trying to do when it happens. Well Mcsentry, I've sent them an e-mail as well, and their machine said I'd get a response in 24 hours. We'll see if I get a different E-mail or the exact same one.

Its the usual big company speak they just fob you off and hope you will give up / when I contacted ubisoft about far cry 2 it was the same bland response / take 2 on the other hand where excellent when I contacted them about civilisation , they even sent me messages to my email account hand typed to get update's and to see if I was experiencing any more problems an altogether much better and helpful service than EA

I still haven't gotten an E-mail back from them, and they said I'd have a response in 24 hours.
They're answer to you is rubbish Sentry, they don't answer any questions about why the servers are lagging, or say anything about future updates. I'm almost certain that if I do finally get a response from them, I'll be sent the same useless link.
I read this "Orange Box has sold 3 million units at retail" which was posted about a year ago. If one third of that is PS3, then there is a million people who payed between 40 and 70 dollars Canadian (I don't know how much that is to you guys) And thats more than enough money to hire a few guys to update the game. Fuck, I WOULD DO IT if they'd let me.

not only have they made money but it is back in the UK game charts at number 3 / how can they get away with still selling a product that is faulty ? if it was a car or TV with a common fault they would be forced by law to recall and fix them / with games its easy no customer contact just a patch auto downloaded when you next log on / if they have patched pc and 360 then surely that is an admission their product is faulty / CLASS action anyone ??

I wonder if there is some sort of legal action that can be taken against them. Hell, even just getting it out there would be good. EA and VALVE probably wouldn't like something like "Group of gamers band together, Sue gaming giants Valva and EA" hitting the headlines...
